about ME

Despite the fact that my restaurant career was taking off, I longed for a more personal and intimate cooking experience. I started working in French Alps chalets during ski seasons and in aboard luxury private yachts in the summer - jobs that exposed me to the finest ingredients that one could just dream about.

This path led me to become a personal chef for a prestigious family in Los Angeles for a decade - cooking for celebrities, politicians, and entrepreneurs.

Being a lover of nature, I discovered Costa Rica in one of my holidays in 2010 and felt a deep connection with Guanacaste and the Nosara area where I now live on a permanent basis with my wife and daughter.

My mission is to bring the feeling he had every Sunday when I was a child, watching the women of my family cooking and then enjoying their delicious meals.

My competitors are not the local restaurants or other private chefs. My competitors are the grandmothers of my clients and it is my mission to make them relive the sweet memories of their childhood during family gatherings.

I was born in Modena, the world capital of handmade pasta. Growing up in a family where cooking was a cherished tradition, I was surrounded by the culinary expertise of the best handmade pasta makers he ever met: my grandmothers, aunts, and my mother – every Sunday I was lost in watching them showing off this amazing, ancient skill.

Driven by a passion for traditional Italian cuisine, especially pasta, I left a successful career in investment banking to pursue the culinary arts. I traveled across France, Chile, and England, refining his skills and eventually working in Michelin-starred restaurants.
